Review: Neutrogena UltraSheer Liquid Daily Sunblock

I am a fair-skinned redhead. And yes, everything you've heard about redheads is true. We have fiery tempers. And we sunburn. BAD!

When I was younger my mother would slather me down with sunscreen while I squirmed and silently swore that when I was older I would NEVER wear sunscreen again.

Then I got older, got a few burns and wised up. Sunscreening quickly became part of my daily routine.

But even though I did it I still didn't like it. Most sunscreens left me feeling kind of sticky/greasy/slimy all day. On top of that most of them have a pretty strong smell. They don't stink, really, but they leave me smelling like I've spent the day at the pool. If I was on my way to the office, that's not really the smell I was going for.

So I was thrilled the first time I put on Neutrogena's UltraSheer Liquid Daily Sunblock. It smooths into your skin really quickly and leaves no residue. My skin felt like it had nothing on it! Score!

And the smell? Minimal. If I really focus on it and/or sniff myself (I know, weird!) I can smell a little sunscreen smell, but nothing overpowering. I can put on scented lotion or perfume and just smell like me. Instead of me at the pool!

I've been wearing Neutrogena UltraSheer Liquid Daily Sunblock for a few days now and no burns, no freckles. This past weekend was the big test as we spent lots of times outdoors for the 4th of July!

Stay tuned...
