Everybody Dance Now!

*** Contest closed. Congrats to Tiffany from Stuff Parents Need. Enjoy your new game!

I am not a huge video game person. We have a Wii and I enjoy the games that came with it, we've purchased a few other fun games, but we don't play every day and we don't stay on top of the latest and greatest games. So I was pleasantly surprised by Just Dance Kids.

With over 40 popular songs performed by kids (not as annoying as it sounds, I promise!) this game gives players a chance to bring out their inner dancer.

In my case the inner dancer is buried way, way, waaaaaaaayyyy inside. I love to dance, but I'm not so great at it. However I had a blast following the dancers on the game and getting down to some great music, like Kung Fu Fighting, All Star, Beautiful Life and MORE! For the younger kiddos, the game offers songs like Wheels on the Bus, the ABC's and music by the Wiggles and Yo Gabba Gabba!

I expected to do some simple step-touch-step-touch action to all of these songs, but I was wrong! This is REAL choreography and I broke a sweat even on the "easier" numbers! (I told you my inner dance was buried!) I will say, 80's girl that I am, my best score came while dancing to Madonna's Holiday! Naturally!

My little guy is still too young to follow the steps in this game but he had a blast doing his own original be-bopping around me while I played. Just Dance Kids is definitely going to become part of my exercise regimen (did I mention I broke a sweat???) and it will be nice to be able to work out while enjoying myself and while my son has fun too! And I'm definitely adding Dance on Broadway to my Christmas wish list!!

Just Dance Kids would make a GREAT holiday gift for the little music lover/dancer in your life and retails for $29.99. However one of my lucky readers is going to win this game!!!

The contest will run until Saturday, November 27 at noon CST. I will select a winner using Random.org. Be sure to include your email in your comment so I have a way to reach you if you win. Entrants must be in the continental US.
