Halloween Recap

Since Thanksgiving is almost upon us, I suppose I should recap our Halloween. But before I show you pictures of Little Ricky, I need to give you a little background.

From a very early age with Little Ricky, we noticed that he had a bit of an.....ummmm....interesting hairline. He has not one, but TWO cowlicks in the front of his hair making it curl in an interesting way on his forehead.

Luckily he's not alone. He shares this hair style with someone pretty famous.

Ladies and gentlemen, our little Dwight Schrute (from The Office).

Dwight says "Get to work!"

"Now!"

We had FIVE Halloween parties to attend Halloween weekend and Little Ricky...um, I mean Dwight...had a ball at all of them.

The 2 pictures above and the one below are from the party thrown by the mom's group I belong to. The wonderful Rachel Hall (she's done most of our pix since Little Ricky came along) took the shots at that party.

This is the BEST! Halloween party. EVERRRRRRRRRR!

Another in-character Dwight shot on the way to our building party. Bossy, bossy!

I love this picture! Look at that sweet face.

Playing a little ring toss at the building party.

While Halloween was a super fun holiday it also had a bit of sadness as one of our absolute favorite people moved back to TX that morning. Here we are after having breakfast with Auntie LA (she's the one holding Little Ricky) before she hit the road. If you're reading this, Auntie LA, come baaaaaaaack!

My little pumpkin (or punkeen as Little Ricky says)

Halloween isn't Halloween without a little Rocky Horror Picture Show. (He really liked the Time Warp!)

My little family at the Prairie District Neighborhood Association party. (This was party #5 and Little Ricky was still rockin and rollin, but Ricky and I were EXHAUSTED!)

Even Dwight Schrute loves Elmo.

Checking out his stash. And yes, I did I steal his peanut M & M's.

We're already thinking about next year and what Halloween costume can top our little Dwight. We've recently come up with what we think is a pretty damn good idea, but you'll have to wait a year to hear about it. If we end up going that direction I will tell you it's another famous person and it will be a nice little walk down memory lane for those of us who grew up in the 80's.

Stay tuned....
